Jill’s final day at West Marine was Wednesday October 10th, She handed over her keys to start her next phase. First Mate on SV Namahana! Shes always been the First Mate but now No kids ,No West Marine. Only Namahana and Me to whip into shape for the journey to come. It is great to have my side kick helping to prepare the boat, make those important decisions and maybe find the time to actually  relax for a while.

As you can see we went with Red canvas for the Chaps, Loud but easy to locate from a distance, We think it turned out pretty good. Bill the upholstery guru did a great job again.

Were trying out the bread maker , It’s so easy. The Jalapeno cheese bread in the picture was fantastic.
