Namahana is going to be up for sale

Our adventure of the last 7 years cruising Mexico actually started in November 1995. Dylan was a one year old. We wanted a taste of cruising on our own boat. We did some cruising on the Lost Soul in the early 90s That gave us the cruising bug. Thanks Bob ! It was quite a leap of faith to leave my business in the hands of my manager and head to Mexico for 6 months in 1995. That 6 months solidified our dream of living the cruising lifestyle. 23 years later after raising our 2 boys we finally cut the lines again on November 15th 2018 . Headed south towards Mexico. Initially we expected to spend a couple years in Mexico then head south through the canal. Then the Covid party happened and our plans were waylaid. Fast forward to the present, February 2025. After the 7 seasons at anchor from November thru June, we decided to get a permanent slip for Namahana in beautiful Paradise Village Marina, Nuevo Vallarta for the 2025 cruising season. It was here we decided to make a big change. We are, for now, done cruising. We’ve done some land travels this season and are going to continue our adventures on land. Our next adventure will be traveling in an RV through the states and beyond. We have so many friends and family we’ve not enjoyed seeing in many years. Also to visit the awesome friends we’ve met here in Mexico that migrate north to escape the hot summers of Mexico. We would like to travel to Southeast Asia to explore the culinary delights we love. A visit to my daughter and family in Italy is in our future. Explore where Namahana could not take us. We are very excited about the next chapter. Therefore we are going to put Namanhana up for sale! This has been a difficult decision for us but it is time for another family to enjoy the safe comfortable cruising that Namahana has to offer. She has been a perfect cruising platform and home for us for many years.
We have continually updated and maintained Namahana every year. All systems are 100 %. We are putting the news out first to our friends and family following our blog. Soon we will post on the web and eventually list with a stateside broker. The new owner can keep the boat in the slip at Paradise Village Marina, it is a permanent slip. Or follow whatever lifestyle dreams they want to make a reality. The best thing about our time in Mexico, and the hardest to leave behind are all the wonderful humans we have bonded with along this journey. We look forward to returning to Mexico often in the winter months and take in the country from a different perspective.

Here’s is few pictures of what we were lucky to experience these last few years
